Genesis Housing provides FREE Financial Counseling with a professional, HUD certified, financial counselor to help clients get through these financially challenging times to plan for tomorrow and the future. Genesis Housing has provided free HUD certified housing counseling services for more than 13,000 clients.
Genesis Housing has also rehabbed or constructed over 500 housing units to provide safe and decent housing for lower income households. In Pottstown, Genesis Housing has renovated or built over 500 units as part of our overall neighborhood revitalization strategy including more than 90 homeowner renovations and over 70 vacant or new construction homes. In addition, Genesis Housing helps organize community events like National Night Out and the Montgomery County Housing Fair. Our projects include partnering with developers for larger building renovations like the long term vacant Fercera’s building into 43 apartments (Beech Street Factory,) Reliance Crossing in Souderton and The Willows in East Greenville
